From student life to the business office, parking to financial aid, and other administrative and student services units, the University Benchmark Project offers over 300 benchmarks that can be used to measure and share the success of your university or college.
Using a proven method to measure performance, the University of Wisconsin - Stout and the National Higher Education Benchmarking Institute have created a tool to help your institution make informed decisions.
With the input of universities and colleges across the county, these benchmarks have been created for colleges to use to compare against their peer groups—all with the end goals to improve:
- efficiency
- institutional effectiveness
- the student experience
“Without a means and context for comparison, data by itself provides little or no opportunity for useful interpretation. Comparison enables one to evaluate data to determine the level and significance of performance and to develop strategies for improvement.”
Carla Pogliano Connor, Ph.D
Vice Provost for Program Development and Compliance
Dunwood College of Technology
